Meanwhile, Rothsay was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their eighth straight defeat. They were six points away from ending the streak, but they lost a 63-57 heartbreaker at the hands of Brandon/Evansville.

Hancock's victory ended a nine-game drought at home dating back to last season and bumped them up to 5-5. As for Rothsay, their loss dropped their record down to 1-10.
