Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a  season-high score is even better (just ask Nash Central). They were the clear victors by  a  47-21 margin over the Roanoke Rapids Yellowjackets on Friday. The  win continues a trend for the Bulldogs in their matchups with the Yellowjackets: they've now won six in a row.
 Taliek Morris was nothing short of spectacular: he rushed for 116 yards and four  scores on only 14 carries. Another rusher making a difference was  ZaQuez Britt, who rushed for 104 yards and one  touchdown on only seven carries.
 They were just one part of a punishing run game: Nash Central was unstoppable on the ground and  finished the game with 375  rushing yards. That's a new  trend for them: they were averaging 73.2  rushing yards per game earlier this season, but in their last five games they've averaged 185.3.
 Nash Central didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off three passes before the game was over. The picks came courtesy of  Britt and  Elijah Dunn.
 Although Roanoke Rapids took the loss, they still got scores from  Bobby Hawkins Jr,  Joe Huss,  and  Quentez Richardson.
Nash Central's victory bumped their record up to 2-5. As for Roanoke Rapids, they dropped their record down to 1-6 with the  loss, which was their fourth straight  at home.

The two teams might be coming in a bit winded given these two teams combined for 1,052 yards in their previous games.
