Cary Academy won the last time they faced Cary Christian and things went their way  on Monday too. The Cary Academy Chargers escaped with a win against the Cary Christian Knights by the margin of a single free throw,  47-46. The  victory made it back-to-back  wins for the Chargers.
 Cary Academy got their  victory on the backs of several key players, but it was  Julian Tweedy out in front who  dropped  a double-double on 12  points and 13  boards.  McCoy Williams was another key player,  putting up 12  points and seven  rebounds.
Cary Academy has  been performing  well recently as they've  won three of their last four contests,  which provided a nice bump to their 5-7 record  this season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as  they  averaged 61.8 points per game. As for Cary Christian, their defeat  ended  a  four-game streak of wins at home  and  dropped them to 7-2.
 Cary Academy will welcome New Life Camp  at 7:00  p.m.  on Thursday. Cary Academy is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 58.8  points per game  this season. As for Cary Christian, they will have a little extra prep time after the  loss as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Calvary Day School at 6:30  p.m.  on January 3, 2025.
