Narrows hadn't done well against Parry McCluer recently (they were 0-9 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Friday. The Narrows Green Waves breezed by the Parry McCluer Fighting Blues to the tune of 69-38. The Green Waves have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won nine matches by 31 points or more this season.

Narrows has been performing well recently as they've won 11 of their last 13 games, which provided a nice bump to their 13-5 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 58.5 points over those games. As for Parry McCluer, their defeat ended a four-game streak of away wins and brought them to 14-3.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Narrows will head out to take on Summit Christian Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. Both teams are headed into the matchup with plenty of momentum (Summit Christian Academy has won three straight at home, while Narrows won four straight on the road), something that'll have to change. As for Parry McCluer, they will take on Eastern Montgomery at 7:00 p.m. on Monday.
