Eminence is 8-2 against Summersville since February of 2015, and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Monday. The Eminence Redwings will head out on the road to face off against the Summersville Wildcats at 6:00 p.m. Eminence is looking to tack on another W to their three-game streak on the road.
Last Thursday, Eminence beat Bunker 54-46.
Meanwhile, Summersville didn't have too much trouble with Dora at home on Friday as they won 59-42.
Summersville's success was spearheaded by the efforts of Andrew Buschmann, who almost dropped a double-double on 19 points and nine assists, and Garrin Greear, who dropped a double-double on 18 points and ten rebounds. Greear hasn't dropped below nine rebounds for seven straight games. The team also got some help courtesy of Hayden Summers, who scored 12 points.
Eminence has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 13-7 record this season. As for Summersville, their win bumped their record up to 10-11.
Eminence ended up a good deal behind Summersville in their previous matchup back in February of 2023, losing 67-50. Can Eminence avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
