Football Recap: Bane Yellow Eagle Key Part of Team Effort in Falcons Win

Todd County won the last time they faced Little Wound and things went their way on Thursday too. The Falcons blew past the Mustangs 44-20. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Falcons.

Todd County's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Bane Yellow Eagle, who rushed for 160 yards and one TD while picking up 8.9 yards per carry. The Falcons also got help from Oniya Whirlwind Soldier, who showed off his sure hands for 93 receiving yards.

They were just one part of a punishing run game: Todd County was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 260 rushing yards. That's the most rushing yards they've posted since back in September of 2024.

Another reason for the win was Todd County's imposing defense, which managed to get into the backfield for four sacks. The team can thank two different players for their defensive prowess: Carver Rahn and Aden Good Voice, who each picked up one sack apiece.

Todd County's victory bumped their record up to 2-0. As for Little Wound, their loss dropped their record down to 1-1.
