The Old Plank Christian Academy Defenders lost against the Keystone Heights Indians back in December of 2023, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. Old Plank Christian Academy was beaten by Keystone Heights 70-24. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points Old Plank Christian Academy has scored all season.
Leading Keystone Heights to victory were Cartez Daniels and Gregory Pelham. Daniels scored 12 points, while Pelham scored 14 points. Daniels continues to roll, besting his previous point total in each of the last three games he's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Zane Leger, who scored eight points.
This is the second loss in a row for Old Plank Christian Academy and nudges their season record down to 3-7. As for Keystone Heights, the win (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 7-7.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Old Plank Christian Academy won't have much time to rest: their next game is against Victory Christian Academy at 7:30 p.m. on January 9th. As for Keystone Heights, they will look to defend their home court on Friday against Hawthorne at 7:30 p.m.
