Buckeye has won eight straight games at home, while Brookside has won eight straight on the road, but those streaks won't matter much on Tuesday. The Bucks will welcome the Cardinals at 5:00 p.m. One thing working in Buckeye's favor is that they have posted at least ten runs in their last seven contests.
Buckeye's pitching crew heads into the game hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Monday. Everything went their way against Bay as they made off with a 10-0 victory. Considering the Bucks have won 17 matches by more than eight runs this season, Monday's blowout was nothing new.
Bay's batters probably weren't too happy with Lilly Young, who pitched a no hitter and racked up 15 Ks (she gave up a single walk). Young has been consistent recently: she hasn't given up more than two walks in four consecutive appearances.

On the hitting side, Faith Shaw was incredible, firing off two home runs and five RBI while going 2-for-4. Those five RBI gave her a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Ava Piovarchy, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with two stolen bases, two runs, and two doubles.
Buckeye was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .414. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Bay only posted a batting average of .000.
Meanwhile, Brookside narrowly escaped with a win as the team sidled past Wellington 6-4.
Markie-Ann Aliff made a big impact while hitting and pitching. She struck out ten batters over seven innings while giving up three earned (and one unearned) runs off five hits. Aliff was also stellar in the batter's box, going 2-for-3 with one home run, three RBI, and two runs.
Aliff wasn't the only one making solid contact as three players wound up with at least one hit. One of them was Khloe Racz, who went 1-for-3 with one triple, one run, and one RBI.
Brookside is on a roll lately: they've won eight of their last nine contests. That's provided a massive bump to their 11-15 record this season. The victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 12.9 runs over those games. As for Buckeye, their win bumped their record up to 19-5-1.
The pitchers for both teams better look sharp on Tuesday as neither team is afraid to steal. Buckeye has been swiping bases left and right this season, having averaged 6.3 stolen bases per game. However, it's not like Brookside struggles in that department as they've been averaging an even more impressive 6.5 stolen bases. The only question left is which team can snag more.
Buckeye beat Brookside 13-8 when the teams last played back in April of 2019. Will the Bucks repeat their success, or do the Cardinals have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
