The biggest upset of the week belonged to Terrell Academy, who took down 345th ranked Terrell Academy, 19-8.
Valwood extended the longest winning streak in GISA 3AA this week by beating Westwood, 48-18. The victory was the eighth in a row for the Valiants.
5-foot-11 quarterback Dalton Todd of Sherwood Christian Academy is the league leader in passing yards this season with 739. He has also thrown five touchdowns. On the ground, Valwood's Khary Paige has rushed for 947 yards which leads the league. The leading receiver in the league this season is Rashad Mathis. The Valwood star has 29 catches for 427 yards.
Ashley Henderson's team's Paige is a mere 53 yards away from breaking the 1,000-rushing-yards mark for the season.
A big matchup in the league this week will be when Southwest Georgia Academy takes on the Wildcats. As it stands, the Warriors are in third, while Westwood is in second.
Southwest Georgia Academy took down the Eagles 38-7 last week, the largest margin of any game.
