After flying high against Hugo on Wednesday, Durant came back down to earth. The Lions took a 7-3 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Calera Bulldogs on Thursday. The Lions' defeat signaled the end of their five-game winning streak.

Durant's loss dropped their record down to 8-7. As for Calera, the victory (which was their seventh in a row) raised their record to 12-1.

Coming up, Durant will take on Tushka at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Calera, they didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next match, a 14-6 win against Tishomingo on the 3rd.
