First Coast is a perfect 8-0 against Riverside since March of 2015 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Tuesday. The Buccaneers will be playing at home against the Generals at 6:00 p.m. First Coast is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 6.2 runs per game this season.

First Coast easily dispatched Andrew Jackson on Wednesday, but unfortunately both the margin and the ultimate result were a different story in this one. The Buccaneers fell just short of Hilliard by a score of 9-7 on Thursday.

Brooke Edmonds made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and went 3-for-4 with one home run, two runs, and two RBI. That home run marked the first that she has launched this season.

Meanwhile, Riverside was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their seventh straight loss. They lost 18-0 to Sandalwood.

First Coast's defeat dropped their record down to 9-13. As for Riverside, their loss dropped their record down to 2-11.

Riverside's pitching crew has a crucial task ahead of them: First Coast has been making plenty of contact this season, having averaged 9.3 hits per game. It's a different story for Riverside, though, as they've been averaging 10.7 hits. Given First Coast's sizable advantage in that area, the Generals will need to find a way to close that gap.

First Coast took their win against Riverside in their previous meeting back in March of 2023 by a conclusive 16-0 score. Will the Buccaneers repeat their success, or do the Generals have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
