Johnson scored a full 38.5% of Calvert Hall's points, the eighth time in a row he's earned more than a third of the team's points. Another player making a difference was Terry Fields, who scored six points along with ten rebounds.
Calvert Hall's loss ended a three-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 2-6. As for John Carroll, they now have a winning record of 4-3.
Calvert Hall will be home for the holidays to greet Loyola Blakefield at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Loyola Blakefield has been dominant on offense recently, as they've racked up an incredible 462 points over their last seven games. John Carroll's road trip will continue as they head out to face St. Anne's-Belfield at 8:15 p.m. on December 15th. St. Anne's-Belfield presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than John Carroll in their respective states (St. Anne's-Belfield is ranked second in Virginia, while John Carroll is ranked 83rd in Maryland).
