The Williamsburg Academy Stallions put another one in the bag on Saturday to keep their perfect season alive. They put the hurt on Lee Academy with a sharp 58-33 win. Despite the victory, that was the fewest points Williamsburg Academy has scored all season.
Corey Burts continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, scoring 25 points. That makes it three consecutive games in which he has scored at least 25% of Williamsburg Academy's points. Wes Smith was another key contributor, scoring 13 points.
Williamsburg Academy's win bumped their record up to 5-0. As for Lee Academy, they now have a losing record at 1-2.
Coincidentally, the two teams will both be playing Thomas Sumter Academy the next time they take the court. Williamsburg Academy will host Thomas Sumter Academy at 6:30 p.m. on January 3, 2024, while Lee Academy will head out to face them at 6:30 p.m. on January 4, 2024.
