Even though the Prattville Lions scored an imposing 68 points on Friday, the Autaugaville Eagles still came out on top. Autaugaville sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 71-68 victory over Prattville. The win made it back-to-back wins for Autaugaville.
Several Lions players turned in solid performances, despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Ty Bryant, who scored 23 points along with 5 assists and 5 rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Xavier Dunn, who scored 10 points along with 9 rebounds and 4 steals.
The win got Autaugaville back to even at 2-2. As for Prattville, they bumped their record down to 3-11 with that defeat, which was their seventh straight on the road.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Autaugaville will face off against Montgomery Catholic at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Prattville's road trip will continue as they head out to face Pelham at 7:00 p.m. on December 12th. Pelham presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than Prattville in Alabama (Pelham is ranked 93rd, while Prattville is ranked 284th).
