When it comes to explaining why Queen's Grant lost, one person who can't be blamed is Garrett Morgan. Despite the final result, he scored 25 points along with 5 assists and 5 rebounds. The game was Morgan's eighth in a row with at least ten points. Jermaine Moncrieffe was another key contributor, scoring 9 points along with 14 rebounds and 3 blocks.
Micah Jones was the offensive standout of the match as he dropped a double-double on 13 points and 10 assists. The team also got some help courtesy of Kaden Bradley, who scored 19 points.
This is the second loss in a row for Queen's Grant and nudges their season record down to 4-4. As for Bradford Prep, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 3-0.
Queen's Grant will be playing in front of their home fans against Mountain Island Charter at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Bradford Prep, they will head out on the road to face off against Highland Tech at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Hopefully Highland Tech focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 18 on Tuesday.
