After flying high against the Cottondale Hornets on Friday, the Sneads Pirates came back down to earth. Sneads took a hard 46-29 fall against Franklin County on Tuesday. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points Sneads has scored all season.
Mahala Griggs was the offensive standout of the game as she scored 15 points. Those 15 points set a new season-high mark for she. Another player making a difference was Jayla Creamer, who scored nine points.
Sneads' defeat dropped their record down to 2-4. As for Franklin County, their victory bumped their record up to 5-3.
Sneads will head out on the road to face off against Wewahitchka at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Franklin County, they will look to defend their home court on Thursday against Arnold at 6:30 p.m.
