Oroville put another one in the bag on Tuesday to keep their perfect season alive. They came out on top against the Odessa Tigers by a score of 10-7. While the Hornets didn't have the best season last year (they finished 1-9), it's starting to look like those struggles are a thing of the past.

Tucker Accord made a big impact while hitting and pitching. He didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only two hits while striking out 11 over five innings pitched. Accord was also stellar in the batter's box, going 3-for-5 with four stolen bases, one double, and one RBI.

In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Owen Wills, who scored two runs and stole six bases while going 4-for-4. Mason Wall was another key player, scoring three runs and stealing three bases while getting on base in three of his five plate appearances.

Oroville always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .538. That's the best OBP they've posted all season.

Oroville's win was their fourth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 4-0. The victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they've averaged 12.5 runs this season. As for Odessa, their loss dropped their record down to 0-2.

Oroville and Odessa will both get their first taste of in-conference action in their upcoming games. Oroville will square off against rival Bridgeport on Thursday. Meanwhile, Odessa is set to challenge their familiar foe Almira-Coulee-Hartline at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday.
