Southwestern Randolph walked away with a 66-55 victory over North Moore on Tuesday. That's two games straight that Southwestern Randolph has won by exactly 11 points.
Leading Southwestern Randolph to victory were Marcus Robertson and Nathan Ellis. Robertson scored 19 points along with six rebounds, while Ellis scored 27 points along with five rebounds. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Ellis has scored all season. The team also got some help courtesy of Brayden Chapman, who scored eight points.
Southwestern Randolph's win bumped their record up to 6-12. As for North Moore, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 5-9.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Southwestern Randolph will challenge Trinity at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Trinity will be looking to keep their four-game home win streak alive. North Moore won't have much time to rest: their next game is against Cummings at 7:00 p.m. on January 24th. Cummings presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than North Moore in North Carolina (Cummings is ranked 254th, while North Moore is ranked 526th).
