With a playoff win on the line, Little River rose to the challenge on Saturday. They secured a 59-53 W over the Oxford Wildcats. Winning may never get old, but the Redskins sure are getting used to it with their third in a row.

Loss or not, Oxford got some senior leadership from Cordell Jordan and Zane Whitson. Jordan went 8-for-12 on his way to 20 points and seven boards, while Whitson dropped a double-double with 14 points and 11 assists. Jordan has been hot recently, having also posted two or more blocks the last four times he's played. Another player making a difference was Kellen Green, who had eight points and nine rebounds.
Little River's victory bumped their record up to 15-7. As for Oxford, their defeat dropped their record down to 17-5.
Little River has already played their next game, a 57-53 loss against Olpe on the 13th. Oxford does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
