The Legacy Lightning just played last night, but they'll still head out to face the Doherty Spartans at 7:00  p.m.  on December 20th. Both teams come into the  match bolstered by wins in their previous  matches.
 Legacy had to endure  a  three-game losing streak, but that streak is no more. They enjoyed a cozy  65-51 victory over Highlands Ranch on Tuesday. That looming  65-51 mark stands out as the most commanding margin for Legacy yet this  season.
 Legacy can attribute much of their success to   Nathan Spradling, who  scored 17 points along with nine  rebounds, and   Joey Delescinskis, who  scored 23 points along with nine  rebounds. The  match was  Delescinskis' seventh in a row with at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of  Tavien Lopez, who  scored eight points.
 Meanwhile, Doherty was fully in charge on Tuesday, breezing past Coronado 66-34 on the road. The  match was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached  36-15.
  Elijah Mack was  his usual excellent self,  scoring ten points along with four  steals. Another player making a difference was  Solomon Latimer, who  scored 11 points.
 Legacy's victory bumped their record up to 3-4. As for Doherty,  the  victory  makes it two in a row for them and  bumps their season record up to 4-4.
 Legacy came out on top in a nail-biter against Doherty  in their previous matchup  back in January, sneaking past  51-48. One of the biggest obstacles trying to stand in the way of that victory was Doherty's  Christian Drummond, who  scored 16 points along with nine  rebounds.
