Union Grove was not able to break out of their rough patch  on Saturday as the team picked up their fourth straight  defeat. They fell  2-0 to the Brookfield Central Lancers.  Tyler Johnson paced Union Grove's offense, picking up seven kills. Johnson got some help from  Asher Gonzales and his 18 assists.
 Brookfield Central was led to victory by  Clark Kramer and  Vincent Hahn.  Kramer  had 15  assists and three  aces, while  Hahn  had six  digs and one assist. Those  three  aces gave  Kramer a new career-high.  Henry Hyde also deserves some recognition as  he  had his first  dig of the season.
Union Grove's loss dropped their record down to 4-12. As for Brookfield Central, they have  been performing  well recently as they've  won seven of their last nine games. That's provided a massive bump to their 9-8 record  this season.
 Union Grove will face off against Westosha Central at 6:30  p.m.  on Tuesday. As for Brookfield Central, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next  matchup,  a  2-0  victory against Nicolet on the 20th.
