Shadow Ridge came into Saturday's contest having lost five straight, but that streak is now in the rearview. They walked away with a 19-7 win over the ALA - Ironwood Warriors on Saturday. The Stallions' offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.

Peyton Bills looked great while leading her team to the win, rushing for 98 yards on only 11 carries, while also throwing for 72 yards and two TDs.

Shadow Ridge didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off three passes before the game was over. The picks came courtesy of Aubrey Hanks and Kylie Hammer. Hammer got in on the action too, converting a pick into a touchdown.

The victory was their first at home , bumping their record up to 2-6. As for ALA - Ironwood, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-5.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Shadow Ridge will host Skyline at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Stallions will be up against the Coyotes' rather soft defense (which has allowed 32.5 points per game), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance. As for ALA - Ironwood, they will have a little extra prep time after the loss as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Heritage Academy at 6:00 p.m. on the 16th.
