After flying high against Pickering two weeks ago, DeQuincy came back down to earth. DeQuincy suffered a grim 8-30 defeat to East Beauregard last Friday. DeQuincy's low-scoring loss was the unsatisfying follow-up to their high-scoring outing the game before.
As for Vinton, they had a rough outing against Rosepine, but a little bit of home cooking seems to have fixed things right up. Vinton walked away with a 30-21 victory over Oakdale.
