The Lima Senior Spartans's game on Monday was a tough loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Thursday. They walked away with a 49-38 win over Cory-Rawson.
Lima Senior's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Maisie Strawser, who scored 16 points along with 8 rebounds. The contest was Strawser's fourth in a row with at least ten points. Anya James was another key contributor, scoring 13 points along with 5 assists.
The win got Lima Senior back to even at 2-2. As for Cory-Rawson, they still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-4.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Lima Senior is on the road again on December 9th and play against Lima Central Catholic at 1:00 p.m. on December 9th. As for Cory-Rawson, they will face off against Miller City at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
