When it comes to explaining why Fruitdale lost, one person who can't be blamed is Deion Taylor. Despite the final result, he scored 22 points along with nine rebounds and four steals. That was a full 50% of Fruitdale's points, marking the 14th time in a row he's earned more than a third of the team's points.
Millry has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four games, which provided a massive bump to their 3-5 record this season. As for Fruitdale, they still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-14.
