Softball Recap: Beaver Snags Ninth Victory in Last Ten Games

Beaver never let their opponents score on Friday. Everything went their way against the Millard Eagles as they made off with a 15-0 victory. The result was nothing new for the Beavers, who have now won 14 matches by six runs or more so far this season.

Beaver let Jerzee Beaumont and Danzee Bradshaw run wild. Beaumont scored three runs while going 3-for-3, while Bradshaw scored three runs and stole a base while going 3-for-3. The dominant performance also gave Bradshaw a new career-high in doubles (two). Lily Wright was another key player, scoring three runs and stealing two bases while going 2-for-4.

Beaver always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .613. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Millard only posted an OBP of .294.

Beaver is on a roll lately: they've won nine of their last ten contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 17-5 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 12.1 runs over those games. As for Millard, their loss ended a seven-game streak of away wins and brought them to 11-9.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Beaver will take on Enterprise at 3:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Millard, they will get a bit of extra time to process the defeat as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on South Sevier at 3:30 p.m. on the 22nd.
