Conneaut Lake kicked off their season on the road on Tuesday and hit a couple of potholes. They fell victim to a rough 15-5 defeat at the hands of the Sharon Tigers.
For Sharon's part, Mark Cattron was a major factor no matter where he played. He looked comfortable on the mound, pitching four innings while giving up just one earned (and one unearned) run off five hits. Cattron was also solid in the batter's box, scoring a run while getting on base in three of his four plate appearances.
