The Muchin College Prep Mountain Lions scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Wednesday. They snuck past Baker with a 43-38 victory. The victory made it back-to-back wins for Muchin College Prep.
Baker lost despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being Serenity Curry, who dropped a double-double on 17 points and ten rebounds. The match was Curry's fifth in a row with at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Destiny Davis, who scored 14 points along with seven rebounds and three steals.
The win got Muchin College Prep back to even at 3-3. As for Baker, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 2-3.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Muchin College Prep will face off against Pritzker at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Baker will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Hansberry at 5:30 p.m. on January 10, 2024.
