There's no place like home for the Lutheran South Academy Pioneers, who bounced back after a tough loss on the road last Friday. They put the hurt on Lutheran North with a sharp 71-51 win on Thursday. That result was just more of the same for these two, as Lutheran South Academy also won the last time the pair played back in December of 2018.
Thomas Kuhlow continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, scoring 13 points along with nine rebounds. Brendon Perez was another key contributor, scoring 11 points along with five rebounds.
Lutheran South Academy's win bumped their record up to 6-9. As for Lutheran North, their loss dropped their record down to 9-4.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Lutheran South Academy won't have much time to rest: their next contest is against Cypress Christian at 6:30 p.m. on December 15th. As for Lutheran North, they will head out on the road to face off against Kinkaid at 2:00 p.m. on Friday. Kinkaid will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Texas Rankings (they are ranked 1377th, while Lutheran North is ranked 466th).
