The Fontbonne Hall Academy Bonnies had to start their season on the road on Thursday, and it wasn't the start they were hoping for. They took a serious blow against Notre Dame Academy, falling 90-40.
Notre Dame Academy was led to victory by Sabrina Kraeker and Giuliana Dito. Kraeker scored 20 points along with 6 rebounds and 4 steals, while Dito scored 25 points along with 5 steals. Caitlin Sweeney was another key contributor, scoring 14 points along with 5 rebounds.
Fontbonne Hall Academy's loss dropped their record down to 0-1. As for Notre Dame Academy, their victory bumped their record up to 1-0.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Fontbonne Hall Academy will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Moore Catholic at 6:30 p.m. on January 5, 2024. As for Notre Dame Academy, they will be playing at home against St. Anthony's at 1:45 p.m. on Sunday.
