The DeSoto Dragons's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Tuesday after their third straight defeat. They suffered a tough 69-44 defeat at the hands of Windsor. The defeat unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for DeSoto in their matchups with the Owls: they've now lost four in a row.
When it comes to explaining why DeSoto lost, one person who can't be blamed is Evan Mcclinton. Despite the final result, he scored 17 points along with two steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Owen Snudden, who scored eight points along with seven rebounds.
DeSoto's loss dropped their record down to 8-12. As for Windsor, the victory was the seventh in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 11-4.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. DeSoto will take on the Pirates at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Perryville is no doubt hoping to put an end to a five-game streak of away losses. As for Windsor, they will be playing in front of their home fans against the Raiders at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. North County will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Missouri Rankings (they are ranked 492nd, while the Owls are ranked 127th).
