Thursday just wasn't the day for Woodmore's offense. They lost 16-0 to the Margaretta Polar Bears on Thursday. The Wildcats' defeat signaled the end of their three-game winning streak.

Woodmore saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Michael Seeger, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with one triple. That triple marked the first that Seeger hit this season.

Woodmore's loss dropped their record down to 5-2. As for Margaretta, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 3-6.

Coming up, Woodmore will challenge Calvert at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. The Senecas' pitching crew has only allowed 3.8 runs per game this season, so the Wildcats' hitters will have their work cut out for them. As for Margaretta, they will host Edison at 4:45 p.m. on Friday. The timing isn't great for the Polar Bears: they have been struggling with three straight losses at home, while the Chargers have snatched up four consecutive wins on the road.
