Kenston Forest is a perfect 4-0 against Trinity Episcopal since March of 2016 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Wednesday. The Kavaliers will head out to take on the Titans at 4:30 p.m. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.
Kenston Forest will roll into the matchup after a wild two-game stretch: they only put up one run on Thursday, then bounced right back against Fuqua on Tuesday. The Kavaliers put the hurt on the Falcons with a sharp 12-2 win.

Aubrey Mayton (2026) was a major factor while hitting and pitching. On the mound, she pitched four innings while giving up just one earned (and one unearned) run off four hits. Mayton (2026) was also stellar in the batter's box, going 3-for-4 with one home run, six RBI, and two runs. Those six RBI gave her a new career-high.
In other batting news, Hayden Hudson (2029) was a standout: she scored three runs while going 2-for-3. Another player making a difference was Palyn Marker (2027), who scored three runs while going 3-for-4.
Kenston Forest was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .500. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Fuqua only posted a batting average of .217.
Meanwhile, Trinity Episcopal had already won three in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 6 runs) and they went ahead and made it four on Tuesday. They never let the Cougars get on the board and left with a 13-0 victory. The game marked the Titans' most dominant win of the season so far.
Like Kenston Forest, Trinity Episcopal also got a great game from a two-way player: Brooke Shelton. She looked comfortable on the mound, not allowing a single earned run and allowed only one hit over five innings pitched. Shelton was also big at the plate, scoring a run and stealing a base while going 1-for-3. That stolen base was her first of the season.
In other batting news, Trinity Episcopal got a massive performance out of Magovern Rollins, who scored a run and stole a base while going 2-for-3. That stolen base marked the first that Rollins snagged this season. Claire Gibbs was another key player, scoring two runs while going 2-for-3.
Trinity Episcopal's victory was their tenth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 5-1. Those home wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 9.5 runs over those games. As for Kenston Forest, their record is now 10-2.
Wednesday's contest might come down to which pitcher can control the ball better. Kenston Forest has hit smart this season, having averaged an OBP of .500. However, it's not like Trinity Episcopal struggles in that department as they've averaged .457. With both teams so capable at the plate, fans should be ready for an impressive hitting performance.
Kenston Forest took their victory against Trinity Episcopal in their previous meeting back in March of 2023 by a conclusive 6-0 score. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Kavaliers since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
