The King's Academy Lions will square off against the Master's Academy Eagles at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. The two teams have allowed few runs on average, (King's Academy 4, Master's Academy 3.9) so any runs scored will be well earned.
Master's Academy will be up against a hot King's Academy team: the squad just extended their winning streak to three. King's Academy had just enough and edged out Jupiter Christian 5-3.

Alexander Hansen tossed a big game, striking out ten batters over five innings while giving up just two earned runs off six hits. Those ten strikeouts gave him a new career-high.
On the hitting side, the team relied heavily on Dalton Needle, who went 2-for-3 with one home run and two RBI. The team also got some help courtesy of Alec Cabrera, who went 2-for-3 with two doubles and two RBI.
King's Academy hit smart and finished the game with only two strikeouts. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now struck out at most four strikeouts in three consecutive matchups.
Meanwhile, Master's Academy fought the good fight in their extra-innings contest against Jupiter Christian on Wednesday but wound up with a less-than-desirable result. They fell just short of Jupiter Christian by a score of 4-3. Master's Academy's defeat signaled the end of their eight-game winning streak.
Trey Seluk was cooking despite his team's loss, going 3-for-4 with one home run, two RBI, and one double. That home run marked the first that he launched this season. Aiden Santos was another key player, going 1-for-3 with one home run.
King's Academy pushed their record up to 8-3 with the victory, which was their third straight at home. Those victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 3.7 runs on average over those games. As for Master's Academy, their loss dropped their record down to 10-4.
Both King's Academy and Master's Academy just can't seem to miss. King's Academy has been making plenty of contact this season, having averaged 9.6 hits per game. However, it's not like Master's Academy struggles in that department as they've been averaging only 4.7 hits. With both teams so capable at the plate, fans should be ready for an impressive hitting performance.
King's Academy was able to grind out a solid win over Master's Academy in their previous meeting back in May of 2022, winning 4-0. Does King's Academy have another victory up their sleeve, or will Master's Academy turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
