Calvary Christian Academy is  a perfect 7-0 against Lower Moreland since April of 2015 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Monday. The Cougars will look to defend their home field  against the Lions  at 3:30  p.m. Calvary Christian Academy has given up an average of 9.5  runs per game this season, but Monday's  game will give them a chance to turn things around.
Calvary Christian Academy is headed in fresh off scoring the most  runs they have   all season. They blew past Delaware County Christian 24-12 last Tuesday. Surprisingly, this marked the Cougars' fourth straight game in which the away team has come away the victor.

 The team  relied heavily on  Leah Zweitzig, who  went 2-for-4 with two  stolen bases, five  RBI,  and three  runs. Those  five  RBI gave  her a new career-high. Another player making a difference was  Rebekah Zweitzig, who  got on base  in three of her five plate appearances with four  stolen bases, three  runs,  and two  RBI.
Meanwhile, Lower Moreland had to endure  a  four-game losing streak, but that streak is no more. They had just enough and edged out Abington  5-3.
 Maddie Menchhofer spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered  just two earned  (and one unearned) runs on eight hits and racked up 14 Ks. She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't  given up  more than two  walks in six consecutive appearances.
 On the hitting side,  Alexis MacPhee was  excellent,  going 2-for-3 with two  RBI and one  double. Those  RBI were  her first of the season. The team also got some help courtesy of  Izzy O'Brien, who  went 1-for-3 with one  run, one  double,  and one  RBI.
 Calvary Christian Academy's win bumped their record up to 2-5-1. As for Lower Moreland, their  victory was their first in the conference, bumping their conference record up to 1-5 and their overall record up to 2-7.
Lower Moreland's pitching crew has a crucial task ahead of them:  Calvary Christian Academy has hit smart this season,  having  averaged  an OBP of .473. It's a different story for Lower Moreland, though, as  they've  only  averaged .339. Will they be able to contain Calvary Christian Academy's hitters?
 Calvary Christian Academy took their  win against Lower Moreland  in their previous matchup  back in March of 2019 by a conclusive  10-0 score. Do  the Cougars have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Lions turn the tables on them?  We'll have the answer soon enough.
