Despite a phenomenal run in the regular season, Northside couldn't carry that success into this playoff game. They fell 64-52 to the Spotswood Trailblazers on Friday. The Vikings' defeat signaled the end of their 17-game winning streak.

Northside's loss dropped their record down to 26-2. As for Spotswood, the win was the 20th in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 25-3.

Northside does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Spotswood, they will square off against Hopewell at 1:00 p.m. on March 15th. Spotswood knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past nine games -- so hopefully Hopewell likes a good challenge.
