Sadie Griffin made a splash no matter where she played. She struck out seven batters over seven innings while giving up just two earned runs off seven hits (and only one walk). She has been nothing but reliable on the mound: she hasn't given up more than one walk in seven consecutive appearances. She was also solid in the batter's box, scoring a run while going 2-for-3.
In other batting news, Mikaela Bradshaw was incredible, going 2-for-4 with one home run and two RBI. Another player making a difference was Addi Jones, who scored two runs while going 1-for-3.
Meanwhile, Fordyce was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their eighth straight defeat. They lost 17-0 to Poyen.
