Osceola's Jamil Morris recorded the longest rushing play in 6A District 7 this season in his game against Boca Ciega last week. Morris ran for 52 yards on the play and finished with 114 on the day as his team bested the Pirates.
Osceola moved up to 229 from 295 in the state rankings this week, the biggest jump in the league. George Palmer's team was able to move up by defeating Boca Ciega 34-14.
Dixie Hollins's Tyrie Adams and Jacquez Hill have formed a dynamic duo this season, leading the league in both passing and receiving yards. Adams has thrown for 503 yards this season, while Hill, a 6-foot-2 receiver, has 16 catches for 328 yards. Morris from the Warriors leads the league in rushing with 433 yards.
Venice took down Charlotte 41-14 last week, the largest margin of any game.
