Christoval came out on top against Sonora on Tuesday thanks in part to Ryler Hunt's efforts. Hunt was dialed in as he didn't allow a single earned run while striking out eight over five innings pitched. He played a big game the last time he faced Sonora back in March, so the team probably should've seen him coming. Hunt also tossed no earned runs, which is notable because Christoval is 6-1 when he allows at most two earned runs, but 5-6 otherwise.

Coming up, Hunt and Christoval will be playing at home against San Angelo HomeSchool at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday.
