Covington came out on top against Kenner Discovery Health Sciences Academy on Tuesday thanks in part to Megan Wicker's efforts. Wicker made a major impact, not allowing a single earned run while striking out 13 over 6.1 innings pitched. Thanks to that strong showing, she's now averaging 6.7 strikeouts per game.

Wicker and Covington will be playing at home against St. Scholastica at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday. The Doves will enter the matchup having just beaten Pine, so the Lions will have to guard against a team looking to keep the ball rolling.
