Sparks' win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Jaoquin Tagulao, who almost dropped a double-double on 15 points and nine rebounds. Tagulao is on a roll when it comes to steals, as he's now grabbed two or more in the last 12 games he's played. Adrian Banuelos Puga was another key contributor, dropping a double-double on ten points and 14 rebounds.
Sparks' victory ended a five-game drought at home dating back to last season and bumped them up to 4-17. As for Truckee, their loss was their 12th straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 0-18.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Sparks will challenge the Hawks at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. One thing working in Hug's favor is that they have posted big point totals in their last eight contests. As for Truckee, they will head out on the road to face off against the Panthers at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
