The Fortune Early College Panthers can now show off nine landslide victories after their most recent match on Thursday. They blew past John Adams Academy 81-24 at home. The win was familiar territory for Fortune Early College who now have six in a row.
Leading Fortune Early College to victory were Jabari Pugh and Nahje Collins. Pugh scored 15 points along with three steals, while Collins scored 20 points. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Collins has scored all season. The team also got some help courtesy of Omarion Davis, who scored nine points.
Fortune Early College is on a roll lately: they've won 11 of their last 13 contests, which provided a nice bump to their 16-12 record this season. As for John Adams Academy, they are on a seven-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 5-22.
Fortune Early College does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for John Adams Academy, they won't have much time to rest: their next contest is against Forest Lake Christian at 6:30 p.m. on February 9th.
