The Mulvane Wildcats''s recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Friday after their sixth straight loss. They had to suffer through a rough 41-7 loss at the hands of McPherson. The defeat unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Mulvane in their matchups with McPherson: they've now lost four in a row.
Mulvane's loss shouldn't obscure the performances of Manny Myers, who threw for 118 yards and a touchdown, and Lucas Sorensen who picked up 41 receiving yards and a touchdown.
Mulvane's defeat was their fourth straight on the road, which dropped their overall record down to 3-6. As for McPherson, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 6-3.
Mulvane does not have any more games scheduled as of now. McPherson will take on Buhler at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are ranked near one another in Kansas (Buhler is ranked 57th, while McPherson is ranked 75th).
