Greenwood Wins 18th-Straight Thanks to Kane Archer
Greenwood picked up their 18th consecutive win on Friday thanks in part to Kane Archer. Archer was dynamite, throwing for 242 yards and five touchdowns while completing 84.2% of his passes, and also rushing for 41 yards and a touchdown.
Unfortunately for Russellville, this isn't the first big game they've seen from Archer. Back in October of 2023 (the last time Archer saw the Cyclones), he rushed for 175 yards and four touchdowns while picking up 10.3 yards per carry, and also threw for 199 yards and three touchdowns while completing 73.9% of his passes.

A Season-Best Performance from Cameron Keller Leads Van Buren over Siloam Springs
Van Buren was led to victory by Cameron Keller, who turned in his biggest game of the season on Friday. Keller rushed for 214 yards and a touchdown while picking up 8.2 yards per carry, good enough to set a new career-high in rushing yards in the process.
Keller might have his next game, a road matchup with Lake Hamilton, circled on his calendar. Back in September of 2023 (the last time Keller saw the Wolves), he rushed for 117 yards and four touchdowns.

Hayden Williford produced his most outstanding game to date while leading Van Buren to the win on Friday. Williford threw for 223 yards and four touchdowns while picking up 10.6 yards per attempt, and also punched in a touchdown on the ground.
Williford and Van Buren are taking a road trip to face off against Lake Hamilton at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The matchup will pit Williford up against the Wolves' star QB Landon West. Wilson Key Delivers Best Performance of Season
Sadly, Wilson Key posting his best game of the season wasn't enough to lead Southside over Lake Hamilton on Friday. Key threw for 234 yards and a touchdown, and also rushed for 55 yards and a touchdown on only seven carries.
Southside's defeat ended a four-game streak of away wins dating back to last season and brought them to 3-2. Key and Southside will take on Shiloh Christian at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.

Hayden Barton Dazzles in Lake Hamilton Win
Rounding off our Top Five is Hayden Barton of Lake Hamilton. Barton rushed for 122 yards and two touchdowns while picking up 7.2 yards per carry. His rushing production has been exceptional recently as that marked his fifth straight game with at least 106 rushing yards dating back to last season.
Barton is probably looking forward to his next game, a home matchup against Van Buren on Friday. When Barton last faced the Pointers back in September of 2023, he rushed for 188 yards and two touchdowns while picking up 11.8 yards per carry.
