The Boulder City Eagles can now show off 12 landslide victories after their most recent game on Tuesday. They blew past Coral Academy of Science Las Vegas 69-48. The victory was just what Boulder City needed coming off of a 77-49 defeat in their prior match.
Boulder City's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Sean Pendleton, who scored 15 points along with five assists and two steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Roman Rose, who scored 16 points along with seven assists and six rebounds.
Coral Academy of Science Las Vegas lost despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being Tanner Gorrell, who scored 15 points along with five rebounds. Gorrell continues to roll, besting his previous point total in each of the last three games he's played. Another player making a difference was Lucas Hamilton, who scored 12 points.
Boulder City has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven games, which provided a nice bump to their 18-4 record this season. As for Coral Academy of Science Las Vegas, their defeat ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 12-7.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Boulder City won't have much time to rest: their next game is against Pahrump Valley at 6:30 p.m. on February 7th. Hopefully Boulder City focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 14 on Tuesday. The Meadows School has been dominant on offense recently, as they've racked up an incredible 671 points over their last ten games.
