When it comes to explaining why Maritime Academy Charter lost, one person who can't be blamed is Jadin Aviles. Despite the final result, he scored 13 points along with 9 steals. Aviles scored a full 30.2% of Maritime Academy Charter's points, the third time in a row he's earned more than a third of the team's points. The team also got some help courtesy of Andy Figueroa, who scored 9 points.
Maritime Academy Charter now has a losing record at 1-2. As for Penn Wood, the victory makes it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 2-0.
