AA District 5 recap September 24, 2013
Alex Stakely of Sequoyah ran for the longest rushing play in AA District 5 this season against Loudon last week. Stakely scampered for 95 yards on the play and finished with 141 on the day as his team bested the Redskins.
Sequoyah took down Loudon 51-26 last week, the largest margin of any game. Brett King threw for 302 yards and 5 touchdowns during the win.
Sequoyah's offense cannot be tamed this season and the Chiefs feature the season leaders in passing, rushing and receiving yards. King has thrown for 1,156 yards and 11 touchdowns this season, while Garrett Dalton has 31 catches for 549 yards.
Bill Satterfield's team led the league in scoring this week by notching 51 points on the Redskins. King in the win.
