Fairview's Brett Berry rumbled for the longest rushing play in Eastern C (8 Man) this season in his game against Scobey/Opheim last week. Berry ran for 70 yards on the play and finished with 180 on the day as his team bested the Spartans.
Adding to the longest winning streak in the league this week, Wibaux beat Circle 62-0,. The victory was the fourth in a row for the Longhorns.
Fairview's offense has been unstoppable this season and the Warriors feature the season leaders in passing, rushing and receiving yards. Monte Cayko has thrown for 428 yards and 4 touchdowns this season, while Pat Hardy has 13 catches for 169 yards.
The most important game in the league this week will be the match up between Wibaux and Culbertson/Bainville. Jeff bertelsen's team enters the contest ranked second in the state, while the Cowboys ranks 10th.
The top two defenses in the league will face off this season when the Longhorns take on Culbertson/Bainville. Wibaux has allowed 32 points this season, while the Cowboys have given up 66. The Longhorns allowed 0 points last week as they defeated the Wildcats.
Powder River County took down Hays-Lodge Pole 73-8 last week, the largest margin of any game.
