Wellsville is a perfect 3-0 against Our Lady of Mercy since April of 2022 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Friday. The Lions will venture away from home to challenge the Monarchs at 5:00 p.m. Wellsville is coming into the matchup hot, having won their last six games.

The Lions were the clear victors by a 12-0 margin over the Red Raiders. The result was nothing new for the Lions, who have now won ten games by eight runs or more so far this season.

Wellsville pushed their record up to 14-2 with the victory, which was their 20th straight at home dating back to last season. Those home wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 0.9 runs on average over those games. As for Our Lady of Mercy, their defeat was their first in the league, dropping their league record down to 5-1 and their overall record down to 9-4.
Everything went Wellsville's way against Our Lady of Mercy in their previous meeting back in April of 2024, as Wellsville made off with a 13-1 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Lions since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
