On Friday Little Wound take on Belle Fourche at 6:00 PM. Little Wound will be strutting in after a win while Belle Fourche will be stumbling in from a defeat.
Little Wound have had to suffer through a 4-game losing streak, but that streak is no more. They were the clear victor by a 36-6 margin over McLaughlin. Little Wound were expected to win, but the margin was definitely larger than the state rankings had forecast.
Meanwhile, if Belle Fourche were riding high off their 49-7 takedown of Spearfish two weeks ago, that ride came to an abrupt end. Belle Fourche took a 21-28 hit to the loss column at the hands of Hot Springs.
Little Wound suffered a grim 28-59 defeat to Belle Fourche the last time the two teams met. Can Little Wound avenge their loss, or is history doomed to repeat itself ? We'll soon find out.
